Hello all Friends of Vanderbilt Men's Lacrosse: First, if you have recently graduated from Vanderbilt University, CONGRATULATIONS! You can opt to be excluded from this email list, or continue to support the team and learn about the upcoming season and events through the "Friends" emails. Please come back and see a game this year! Next, you may be surprised to realize that Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 Commodore Lacrosse scheduling has begun!! Please mark your calendars for our BIG EVENT on Family Weekend - Friday October 8, 2010. We are looking for more families to join the Event Committee, currently the Vessa, Rinella and Maloney Families. We hope you will plan to attend and be part of the FUN-RAISING and fundraising and a great evening of family, friends and Vanderbilt lacrosse! (Yes, we will need a lot of volunteer help!! Vanderbilt men's lacrosse and dinner buffet Friday, October 8, 2010, 5:30–8:30 p.m. Natchez Field Buffett dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The Vanderbilt men’s lacrosse team will host an SEC opponent. Students, families and friends of Vanderbilt lacrosse are invited to join us for a buffet dinner on the field at 7 p.m. following the game. A local restaurateur will be on site to offer a la carte selections for purchase. Advance ticket and dinner reservations are requested. Inclement weather alternative: Recreation Center. Last, but not least, we ALMOST closed the deficit for the 2009/2010 year. We are just $2500 shy and it would be great if you would join me by making a modest contribution if your circumstances permit - so that we can begin the new 2010/2011 season with a clean slate (and enable our team to play hard and play well this year).
