MENS LACROSSE
ALL freshmen will be responsible for Field preparation for practice, games, and tournaments. All freshmen will also be responsible for equipment such as goals, balls, cones, water, etc. Freshmen will be responsible for team equipment at practice and games. This includes ALL equipment brought to practice as well as water for team, and properly put away after practice. For home games the Freshmen Class will be responsible for setting the goals, scoring tables, and cones up for game play, as well as Team water for Vanderbilt and the visiting team. Freshmen will also be responsible for other duties designated by with either the Team Captains or Head Coach. Report to Team President. Fundraising-Sophomores Sophomores will be responsible for team fundraising, organizing events, generating funds for transportation, equipment, and all aspects of Vanderbilt Men’s Lacrosse. Sophomores will also be responsible for other duties designated by with either the Team Captains or Head Coach. Report to Team Treasurer. Team Organization-Juniors Juniors will be responsible for organizing team play with other school functions, as well as other club organizations i.e. fraternity/sorority, other sport club organizations. Organize student involvement for home games, as well as organize team outings for public involvement in Vanderbilt Men’s Lacrosse. Juniors will also be responsible for other duties designated by either the Team Captains or Head Coach. Report to Team President. Overall Leadership- Seniors The Seniors will be looked up to by the rest of the team, but by the public as well. Your duties will include leading your team on and off the field, organizing the annual team camping trip in the fall to the Ocoee as well as a team ski trip in the winter. Seniors will also assist the head coach with public appearances to promote the team. Seniors will also be responsible for other duties designated by either the Team Captains or Head Coach. Report to Team President. Team President Responsibilities The Team President will keep Class representatives on top of their responsibilities. Be the Liaison between Head coach and MCLA and SELC representatives. Attend all school meetings intended for Vanderbilt club sports with Ladonna Meuchel and other team Presidents. Be up to date on NCAA, SELC, and MCLA rules and regulations. Other responsibilities will be assigned throughout the season. The President reports to the Head Coach. Team Treasurer Responsibilities The Team Treasurer is responsible for all financial transactions. He will collect and maintain organization of all players’ payments, for team fees, gear payments, and team account balance. The treasurer will also make all deposits from donations and player fees. Other responsibilities will be assigned throughout the season. The Treasurer reports to the Head Coach. |
